Unfortunately, they have you, and the only reasonable action is to play nice. Once they tell you to hit the road, or they cant fix it, or something like that, then you have something to work with. However, nobody wants that result. I think the "project management" approach is probably the best. "What can I do to help" is it's tag line. You have probably said that a thousand times.
