Guy Driving HALF of a VW Beetle

I thought this was pretty cool and figured you guys would to. Enjoy!

It's an animated GIF of a white Volkswagen bug cut in half from front to back and it's still driving. There is a clear plexi-glass side to it and there's a driver inside. Parking must be pretty easy but I imagine with such a thin wheel width, it's unstable on turns or in wind.

Apparently, this guy (John Beetler?) wanted to have money for his college education so he cut a beetle in half and raffled it off on his blog. I guess a Brazilian bank and helped publicize it. So, that leads me to believe this happened in Brazil where they still have new beetles and explains why he would decide to chop such a beautiful car in half. They're falling off trees down there... a dime a dozen.
