1971 VW Bus M-Plate Decoded!

Here's how my M-Plate translates. I had thought someone painted it two-tone but turns out it's just a crappy stock paint job. THey painted the whole thing blue then painted the top White.


Pretty cool.

Where did you get your "M" plate info from?

Kyle,
I used http://www.vw-mplate.com/ to decode the M-Plate.

The M-Plate is usually located in the driver side door or behind the driver side seat on the bus.
